ZAVRŠENA DRUGA AKTIVNOST PROJEKTA EUROPSKIH SNAGA SOLIDARNOSTI / SECOND ACTIVITY OF THE EUROPEAN SOLIDARITY CORPS PROJECT COMPLETED

Uspješno smo završili i drugu aktivnost Europskih snaga solidarnosti.

We have successfully completed the second activity of the European Solidarity Corps.
During September, a group of young volunteers stayed at the Visitor Center in Sošice and, through their selfless work, helped clean up illegal dumpsites at several locations within the Žumberak – Samoborsko gorje Nature Park.

Thanks to their effort and dedication, the villages of Kordići, Kuljaji, and Magovci were cleared of waste that had accumulated over the years, damaged the environment, and posed a threat to the health of local residents. In addition to the clean-up, the volunteers assisted the local community with seasonal tasks and participated in various lectures and educational activities.

We are delighted that, with the support of the European Solidarity Corps, we were able to secure funding and carry out the planned volunteer activities.

The total value of the project, which runs from 1 June 2025 to 31 March 2026, is €37,739 and it is co-financed by the European Union.
